An invitation to be at Stormont ... well worth the wait, even if we did catch only a glimpse of Her Majesty as she passed our area on her exit from the estate.
The Queen is just lovely! I was so happy to be in Ireland at the time of the festivities and spent that Sunday after church watching the celebration on the TV all afternoon with friends.
So many here in the States think of the Queen and her husband and family with great affection. And many of us got up in the wee hours to watch William and Kate's wedding, with no questions asked for being a little late to work that day!
