Endless blue sky for the past few days ... wonderful!
It is a bit of a novelty ... and here, behind a lovely grass that my sister E gave, you can see wall-to-wall (or hedge-to-hedge) blue!
The same sky on a different day with the Yucca which was almost given up for dead two years ago. Now thriving and repotted it shows what a bit of TLC will do.
Same blue in a slightly different part of the sky ... Eliot discovered a lovely wood on my last day off ... and at the edge of it there are a number of redwoods. What magnificent trees! We'll certainly plan to return as it is a most delightful and fresh area of recently designed and planted parkland. It is full of native species and the paths are well maintained and easy walking.
There are a number of these life-size carvings along the paths ... they're interesting and fun.
So ... blogging has been low on the list after work and walking ... and once you're out of the habit ...
... maybe I need to pin myself down every morning .... but, on the other hand ...

Glad the blog is alive again!
Yes - it is sorely missed. Eliot looks like he's waiting for the boy in the sculpture to start playing.
