I should have blogged earlier ... though there wasn't much time as an urgent call out used up the whole afternoon. It has been Saint Nicholas' day ... plans were afoot to give a good history etc., etc.! Not this year!
... And certainly not tonight! Have been at work related activities non-stop since 8.30 am and it is now 11.40 pm!!! (Evening meal was at 10.00 pm) I'm tired ... and tomorrow has three meetings (plus hospitals) and a leaflet to prepare for the carol service in a nursing home ... looks as if it will be another fifteen hour day again!
Freezing cold temperatures and more snow this afternoon certainly doesn't make getting around terribly easy - but thanks to my great friend I have salt for the drive - though I did slide around a bit on the fresh snow when coming back this evening!
At youth club we had fun in the snow and I managed to build a snowman! One of the lads gave him ears (cauliflower ears)!
Better pictures in the other camera but ... not tonight!!
Grant to us, Lord God,
to trust you not for ourselves alone,
but for those whom we love
and who are hidden from us by the shadow of death;
that, as we believe your power to have raised
our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead,
so may we trust your love to give eternal life
to all who believe in him;
through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever. Amen.
The Promise of His Glory
