2010:365:260 Playing.

Almost lunchtime and the air is still very cold today.  Thermometer reads 13 degrees Celsius outside but it feels more nippy.  Meanwhile, with a pile of paperwork to sort out I have the fire lit and a warm pot of soup almost ready.
Last night the temperature dropped to 0.1 degree Celsius - autumn has arrived!
Meanwhile in the patch of sun on the living room floor our guest dog, Angel, curls up to absorb every ray.
She is such a pet!
And just lies without moving when you try to take her photograph.
Angel is huge! and stretched out full length she takes up quite a bit of floor space!
On the other hand, the somewhat camera shy Eliot retreated to his favourite spot at the bottom of the stairs as soon as he realised what was happening.
The pair of them were driving me to distraction earlier as they played in just about every corner of the house!  It is a mock-fight sort of play and takes up a lot of room.  It also deposits a huge quantity of hair everywhere!  Fun to watch though.
Now, need to get out this afternoon so, with today's blog sorted, the computer can be shut down!

O Lord, you are our God: we call upon you all day long.
Lord, have mercy.
Rescue the weak and poor, deliver them from the power of the wicked.
Christ, have mercy.
Lord, our souls wait for you, for our hope is in your word.
Lord, have mercy.

What lovely photos of your guest dog, Angel - so long and gangly, and as you say a lovely nature.
Your collage is beaut too.
Both Eliot & Angel as well as yourself must have enjoyed that warmth from the fire :D
