It was good to meet Firat today again....looking forward to eating in his restaurant next week. As the caption says, "it gets better..." Today was a little warmer and we had a leisurely breakfast on the balcony where you can spend quite a bit of time.... day beginning.... in the middle.... and after dinner...
I don't think that the view was quite as fuzzy as this photograph suggests! When the light had gone completely we went down into the harbour area where there appeared to be a competition for hearing impaired young folk who were dancing to a very strong beat. Some of the teams used traditional dress which added to the beauty of the event.
Going round the shops was fun as well with those that sell lights looking the most attractive.
The variety of this particular style of lamp shade is amazing....
And they come in all sizes from tea light holders right up to huge globes.
It would be hard to choose a favourite....The owner is a great guy who lives in one of the apartments near to Ken and Eva.
There is so much to do and see in and around Kas. The theatre is close to the present town so we had a little walk there in the morning.

The May Day parade was a colourful procession through the town and I think this fellow is Firat's cousin.
Now, however, it is time for bed! It has been a good day - interesting things to do, fun people that we met....and the prospect of more and more still to come!
