Sunday
The first Sunday after Trinity ... and a beautifully calm day after yesterday's storm. There are a lot of small branches lying on the ground now and much of the spring rhododendron blossom with it.
That didn't stop Dougal from wanting an early morning walk ... 5.30 am is early!
The park wasn't open ... so we did a couple of miles around the streets.
Back in the garden there's a tiny bit of growth on the rosebud ...
Leaving the door on the security chain means that Dougal can sniff the air but not escape!
Most of the time he's content simply to lie and look around ... or sleep!
