I had a feeling that I'd forgotten something ...
Local clergy had come for a meeting and we'd enjoyed some coffee and biscuits ... and a tiny slice of cake ... a very tasty, fresh Victoria Sandwich. Yes, a good cake and lots left to eat after my evening meal.
It was then that I remembered ... remembered that I'd forgotten something! Remembered that the cake was sitting in the living room where the meeting had been held.
Remembering was followed quickly by a "sinking feeling" ... a sense that all might not be well in the front room ...
The cake ... Ah, the cake! Maybe that should be "alas the cake" because it was no more!
The culprit was disturbed in the demolition stage ... all that remained was part of the base that had stuck to the plate and a very small blob of jam! The rest of the delicious sponge was ... IN THE DOG!
I think that this is a "guilty look," though it might just as easily be a plea for seconds!
Such is life with a dog.
Meanwhile, in front of Saint Nicholas' at lunch time ... Northern Ireland's popular potato crisps! As one of my friends said, "The service this week is sponsored by Tayto"!
Now ... what needs to be done to get ready for the Ugandan Choir concert ... did you know that we have a concert on Tuesday at 7.30 pm ...
... just checking!

That look says, "it was a simple case of entrapment!"
