Christ the King Sunday ... or Stir Up Sunday ... great fun but, I've a head cold so will just post a few pictures and go to bed! Catch up soon.
All thirteen ingredients set out ready to be mixed. With the help of the young people we soon had a Christmas pudding mixture - mostly in the bowl!
A few almonds did find their way onto the floor!
Then everyone had a stir ...
... or almost everyone! Baby V managed to sleep through the entire event.
The young folk didn't care for the smell ... but they did enjoy stirring.
It really does smell wonderful!
Just about everyone made a wish and enjoyed having a stir at the pudding ... now ... tomorrow to cook it ... or them! This will make a number of good sized puddings.
Stir up, we beseech thee, O Lord,
the wills of thy faithful people;
that they, plenteously bringing forth the fruit of good works,
may of thee be plenteously rewarded;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
