A wet Thursday!

Here we are at Thursday again ... the Day Off ... and it is rather dull and damp.  At 10°C it isn't cold ... but the incentive to go out with Eliot is rather diminished (at the moment).

...
...
Long break between those two sentences and the remainder of this blog.  A couple of emergency visits to make ... so now back at the desk to have breakfast and plan the remainder of the day!
The sky is a little brighter so maybe there will be a walk with Eliot after all ... probably somewhere that there isn't long grass and where the drainage is good.  It seems that overnight there's been a great deal of rain!
Last Thursday was very different ... then we had Murlough and the beach ... just look at the blue sky!
Eliot is totally at home in this kind of place ... chasing rabbits, finding "interesting" things ...
He appears to have endless energy when it comes to running up and down the sand dunes.
Then, the seaside!  In the winter when the beach is deserted, he can run freely and enjoy the water and chasing seagulls.

I do wish that the sun would come out this afternoon ....

Anyhow ... this is just an Eliot "fix" for all his fans!
And I can imagine myself on the sand dunes ...
Meanwhile ... I found this diagram some time ago and have been looking at it again ... maybe I ought to take it to heart and get organised ... or is that tomorrow's job?
This is Saint Luke's Day ... Gospel writer and physician ...

Almighty God,
you called Luke the physician,
whose praise is in the gospel,
to be an evangelist and physician of the soul:
By the grace of the Spirit
and through the wholesome medicine of the gospel,
give your Church the same love and power to heal;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

It's a comfort to see the pup running free on the dunes...that dog has quite the life!

Eliot seems to appreciate your days off and he looks like he's in doggy paradise in those photos.

That last diagram is funny! :D I have a clock in my computer room where I make sure I get off the computer at midday - or at the latest 1pm. This makes sure I have had only 3 hours of internet time during the day. After that, I have something to eat, read, have a shower, get some housework done and anything else that needs doing.

It's how I work. Weekends - I've found are my busiest days. I get up, do laundry, wash up, do my gardening, put away any laundry sitting around (clean stuff) and tidy up the lounge... then I have the whole rest of the weekend to myself. Usually, I paint. :)
