Experimenting

I've just pasted in a Google map ... an experiment!  If it works then somewhere (probably by clicking on the title) there's going to be a link to Saint Nicholas' on Google maps.
 There is, however, no connection whatsoever to the photographs of Eliot.  Here he sits, waiting for me to come in and wondering (I presume) why I'm standing in the porch looking at him through the inner door!  It's a very welcoming sight ...
 There's something a little regal about his commanding position here in the centre of the hallway.  I should have put away the outdoor shoes before taking the picture!  (And I shouldn't have drawn your attention to them!)
 Taking photographs in the rain is something of a necessity in Ireland ... red car and red umbrella or red buds ... anything at all to cheer up a grey February afternoon!  It really is a day for curling up and reading a book.

We sang "Go forth and tell! at the end of Holy Communion this morning ... verse 5 is:

Go forth and tell!  O Church of God, arise!
Go in the strength which Christ your Lord supplies;
go till all nations his great name adore
and serve him, Lord and King for evermore.

Church Hymnal number 478 verse 5
James E Seddon (1915-83)

I managed to see your link to the Google map!

Love the picture of your dog awaiting your return- if only they could talk!

We also sang Go forth and tell this morning, and have rain!

I've written a great entry about this weekend just gone. We've been having a nice stretch of hot weather. And on 365, I've put up some nice photos of bright colours if you'd like to have a gander at them. The collage of Meditation Sunday was lovely as it was nice hot day; however I got sunburnt along with almost everyone else! :(

What a nice picture of Eliot through the window! It's always a pleasure for us to see (whether we're coming or going) Mr. Matty's sweet face at the kitchen window, or the top half of a sweet ginger cat face as Bright Spot also watches for us, perched on his little step stool.
