Do we go back to try to do a day by day account of Kenya? I think not! There are photographs on the web site which will give something of an overview of the busy and enjoyable days there.

Getting Eliot back from kennels was good ... and now he's discovering that Christmas means gifts for him too. He (or his owner) couldn't wait to open a gift that was hanging on the door handle this morning! Eliot even had a card in it all to himself!
You must admire his patience! And he was rewarded with one of the meaty twists. He loved it!
So life has returned to "normal" and in just a few hours it will be Christmas morning!
The animals are gathering in anticipation ...
Meanwhile ... there are a few things to do ... but at least the blog is back! No doubt there'll be the odd reference back to Kenya ... and perhaps even a few photographs of Eliot! After all, he is the "spoilt rotten dog" who controls the rectory ... and the rector!
It's the way he looks at you!!
Hark the glad sound! the Saviour comes,
the Saviour promised long:
let every heart prepare a throne,
and every voice a song.

I too look forward to returning to regular blogging after our store closes on the 31st. As it is it's all work and no play at the moment:(
But nothing warms my heart like seeing your menagerie getting ready for the big day and seeing dear Eliot receiving his gifts from Father Christmas:)
Good to see the blog back - have a blessed Christmas
Hello Eliot! Glad you're back on the blog - you were (both) missed.
