Yesterday (Monday) and the day before (Sunday) ...

Random pictures ... just to catch up!
Eliot came home from kennels and joined me in Saint Nicholas' at the lunchtime opening ... he is always so clean and freshly brushed when his stay there comes to an end.

Christingles ready to be distributed ...
 Candles lit throughout the church.
 Advent wreath.
Christingle made by the young people during the service.
The symbol of Christ, the Light of the World.
At home ... Advent candle and wreath ...

Love the Advent theme and Eliot's smart appearance. Met his second best fan tonight.

What are the symbolism of the oranges and lollies on the Christingles? I've seen them, however never made them or had anything do to with them.

Just wondering.

Oh! Thank Elizabeth. I've never done that before - even as a child. It must be fun. :)
