Today ... Tuesday ....

A lion at the crossroads ... this is not a sight you see every day!  There he was, larger than life, travelling along in the afternoon traffic ... watched by dozens of school run families.  How many of them had a camera handy?!
My companions (three undertakers) were just a tad amused when I started taking photographs!  At the time we were on our way to the old cemetery in Dundonald ... a cold place on a wintry afternoon!  The day had started with very heavy rain and strong winds so at least the dry and sunny spell was appreciated.
But the question remains ... why was there a lion on the back of that lorry?  Where was he being taken?  From whence had he come?  You do wonder!
Back home for a warm drink and a quick tour of the garden with Eliot!  He checked out the squirrel tree, gave me a "look" and decided that indoors is warmer!
Now, tonight, it is again cold ... maybe an early night is on the cards!
