A quiet space in the city.

Eliot couldn't understand the sound of barking this morning.
A dog show in The King's Hall ... he could hear them but couldn't join them!
So, the poor mutt sat in the back garden looking wistfully at the direction from which the noises were coming.

Meanwhile I had a small amount of shopping to do and, armed with the camera, headed off to the Cathedral Quarter.

Then, shopping done, lunch eaten, I wanted a quiet place for a little while.

That's what you need sometimes ... a place to go where another will lead the worship.  One o'clock on Saturday there is short service in the Chapel of Unity at Saint Anne's.

 Harvest preparations were underway inside the great building ... all very quiet and discrete so as not to disturb the many visitors who had come in to pray and to look around.

It is a good place to be.

Be still, for the power of the Lord is moving in this place,
he comes to cleanse and heal, to minister his grace.
No work too hard for him, in faith receive from him;
be still, for the power of the Lord is moving in this place.
