365Project got my attention first thing in the morning and yet another picture of fruit appears! This series of mine must end soon ... but there are still items in the fruit bowl that need to be photographed. It was the turn of the Galia melon today ... that's a cross between a honeydew and a cantaloupe. Very sweet and juicy with a delightful aroma.
It made a very tasty dessert this evening when smothered in raspberry sauce and topped off with fresh berries.
Now, if you remember the long grass ... it is no more! Eliot is rediscovering short grass!
And Holiday Bible club had a good helping of messy play as the young folk painted rockets.
There is something very satisfying for children when they get their hands covered in red and black paint!
Help us to share in Christ's ministry
of love and service to one another;
through the same Jesus Christ our Lord,
who in the unity of the Holy Spirit
is one with you for ever. Amen.
Wednesday prayers.

I can read Eliot's mind:
"We've been robbed! Call the cops! Someone stole all our grass!"
oh how nice to be able to see your garden again and I bet the smell of fresh cut lawn was delightful :) Judyx
Yes, I do believe Eliot was a little puzzled! But it is true Judy, I am glad to be able to see what might become a lawn. The new gardener says it will "take a week or two"! He's coming back today to cut hedges and then will return on Wednesday next week to do the grass again.
