I can't think of a snappy title right now ... and this is what it says "Saturday"! Saturday night after a busy enough day and there's still a bit of photocopying to do ... will nip down to the hall to complete that before heading off for what was going to be an early night!
Today's photograph is from the Methodist Church Coffee Morning. When I arrived the hall was full and had a great atmosphere of conversation and laughter.
Watching folk enjoy themselves is such fun! And, in addition, over £1,000 was raised through the hard work here. That's not bad for a Coffee Morning and Sale! It was good too to meet people from all of the local churches there.
I should have posted a picture or two from yesterday's visit to a nursing home near Lisburn where Paul gave two short concerts - one in each department of the facility. His music ministry there was very much appreciated both by residents and by the staff. He even had us up and doing "The Birdie Song" ... fun for everyone!
And, of course, they all just loved Paul!So ... on the eve of Trinity Sunday ... time to put away the computer and take out the dog!
Almighty and everlasting God,
you have given us your servants grace,
by the confession of a true faith,
to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity
and in the power of the divine majesty to worship the Unity:
Keep us steadfast in this faith,
that we may evermore be defended from all adversities;
for you live and reign, one God, for ever and ever.
you have given us your servants grace,
by the confession of a true faith,
to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity
and in the power of the divine majesty to worship the Unity:
Keep us steadfast in this faith,
that we may evermore be defended from all adversities;
for you live and reign, one God, for ever and ever.
