Blah ...

 You're not really supposed to play with matches, are you?  The 365Project picture was a dull matchstick pattern ... having failed to get a good picture of either dog or daffs.
The matches were fun ... sort of.
 They are the extra long safety matches ... and there's not a lot more that you can say about them.
On the third attempt I caught Eliot before he moved.  Every time the camera lens opened he got up and wandered off.  Here I managed to creep up with the lens ready and catch him before he spotted me!
 Distraction works too ... and his favourite game of chasing a spot of light sends his tail into a frenzy and his eyes focus on where the spot was spotted.
 The pictures were taken between jobs today and don't really have a connection.  The living room is full of the perfume of these attractive blooms.
  "Bridal Crown" is their name!
 The evening was less "blah" than the day ... I've been reading a book "Pulpit Journeys" edited by Geoffrey Stevenson.  It's a collection of fifteen short essay style chapters by some of today's great preachers ... I've heard a few of them over the years and find it interesting to discover a little more of their journey into preaching.  I'll likely read another chapter or two before bedtime.

Lord, speak to me that I may speak
in living echoes of your tone;
as you have sought, so let me seek
your wandering children, lost, alone.

O teach me, Lord, that I may teach
the precious truths which you impart;
and wing my words, that they may reach
the hidden depths of many a heart.

I like the close up of the match heads.
Eliot always takes a good shot - he's lovely :)
