2010:365:146 Zebradoggie

Eliot was persuaded (with a few treats) to stay on the landing for a photo-shoot.  The Venetian blinds produced an interesting pattern on his nose for the 365Project theme of shadows.  One of the 365-ers says that it looks as if Eliot is singing!
Maybe he was.  Weather like that can sometimes mean a bit of a walk though the poor mutt had to wait all day for it.  He's used to that and simply waits patiently until I make a move and then the excitement is very obvious!  As I write he's again lying at my feet just waiting.
Wouldn't it be grand to have that trusting patient attitude.... no worry about the future.... he is aware that I'm in charge and that's all he needs!
What he doesn't know is that I again left the car at church so there will certainly be a walk!  With a meeting in  the Diocesan Offices in the afternoon I took the bus in.  That was my first use of the new bus pass!  It seemed like a good idea to come directly home and then walk back for the car.... now I'm not so sure.... but Eliot will be happy!
There was an interesting shadow along the bus windowsill... the edge of the glass has printed spots....
...these shadows were thrown onto the sill and I liked the pattern.  But the zebra lines on Eliot's nose were more fun!

Be still, for the glory of the Lord is shining all around;
he burns with holy fire, with splendour he is crowned.
How awesome is the sight, our radiant King of light!
Be still for the glory of the Lord is shining all around.

Church Hymnal number 325
"Be still for the presence of the Lord..." by Dave Evans.

Darling Eliot is the star of the day - two photos & just lovely they are too.

It's amazing how a dog will sit patiently just waiting for you to make the move, whether it is to play or to go for a walk.
I spied a green eyed toy in the background, is that his toy :D

We'd love to get another dog, (we had to put our Jesse to sleep in 2001) but we do a bit of travelling & kennel costs get out of hand.

I like your bus shadow - it came out well!

No...the "toys" in the background are mine! I collect turtles. Eliot never even looks at them - he doesn't have and soft toys so obviously assumes they aren't his.
Dogs do tie you as far as freedom to get up and go is concerned.... kennels are expensive and you don't always find friends who can take your pet.
Love reading your comments.
