2010:365:81 Monday

Welcome to Saint Nicholas'.  We're open at lunch time almost every weekday and it is a good place if you're looking for a little bit of quiet and a space where you can pray.
It is one of those buildings that always looks bigger on the inside than it does from the street.  Opening up the front of the nave was a good move last year and gives room for various activities and a place to put the piano as well.
Today was a fairly quiet day so Lay-Zee had a wander around and in particular enjoyed studying the windows.
This is a rather different angle on the Saint Nicholas' window!  It's good at any angle.
Right now I'm trying to complete a sermon for tomorrow's Lent service in Saint John's, Malone, so the blog is short - otherwise the sermon will be short as well!  Do remember to call in to Saint Nicholas' if you're on the Lisburn Road.

God of peace,
whose Son Jesus Christ proclaimed the kingdom
and restored the broken to wholeness of life:
Look with compassion on the anguish of the world,
and by your healing power
make whole both people and nations;
through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  Amen.
