2010:365 Day Five - Photograph Five - Blog Five

The sun may be shining but the ground is frozen solid and the tarmac at the Parish Halls is lethal! The sign means what it says.
It was a frustrating visit to the office this morning. Even though I'd brought fresh paper from the rectory, the dampness in the air was enough to cause the machine to clog about six times - a waste of time and paper.
Time was in short-ish supply today as the photocopying needed to be done for a meeting of the six churches in the "Faith Seeking Understanding" group.
On the eve of the octave of Christian Unity the various churches in this part of Belfast (we six plus others) are planning a big service which Saint Nicholas' is hosting. I needed the draft order of service so that we could go over the final details. It was a good thing that we did! Somewhere in Publisher over half a page just vanished.... Microsoft's own Bermuda Triangle! So now I need to hunt around to find it and redraft the draft....
In due course details of the service will be posted to the Blog and on Facebook - everyone is welcome - 17th January at 7.00 pm in Saint Nicholas' on the Lisburn Road in Belfast.
Eternal Father,
whose Son Jesus Christ ascended to the throne of heaven
that he might rule over all things as Lord and King:
Keep the Church in the unity of the Spirit
and in the bond of peace,
and bring the whole created order to worship at his feet,
who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Collect of The Kingship of Christ.
