Sunny days

It must be Balmoral Show week. The sun is shining, the air is warm and the midges are busy! At long last, after endless wet days, the gardener has arrived. Not a moment too soon as the garden furniture was rapidly disappearing in the long grass. It is a pity about the fine crop of daisies though the next generation are probably already putting out fresh shoots. Over the back wall from early morning there is a great deal of activity. The Agricultural Show starts this week and restricted parking signs are everywhere. No wonder so many of my friends come to visit (and park) close to the entrance to the King's Hall. The horses will be the first of the animals to arrive and there's a good view of their paddock from upstairs. No doubt Eliot will be totally confused by all the smells and noises! He's not too keen on the strimmer either.
