From next Sunday (half way through the service to be precise) we'll be moving to the Parish Halls for about twenty weeks. All services will be there as a major building repair programme is about to begin in Saint Nicholas'. It isn't the first time that the church has had to relocate so people are prepared for some of the changes that it will mean.
The early Holy Communion - and probably the Wednesday one as well - will be held in my office. That might mean that I keep things a little more tidy.
This week I'm thinking about pilgrims and pilgrimage...probaby preach around that topic on Sunday. We will be very comfortable in the hall - and will try a central table layout with chairs in a diamond shape around it. More thoughts on this one through the week.
