Prayer is the soul's sincere desire ....

Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin ... early on Thursday morning.  Blue sky and sunshine.
A building of great beauty and age.

The Mothers' Union Chapel where you may kneel and pray ... looking at the stained glass mother and child with Saint Luke.
This Cathedral is a holy place ... it is holy ground ... a thousand years of worship and devotion to God ... a magnificent and beautiful building in which it is easy to pray.

Prayer is the burden of a sigh,
the falling of a tear,
the upward glancing of an eye
when none but God is near.

Church Hymnal 325 verse 2
James Montgomery (1771-1854)
