The craic was mighty and a whole evening passed before blogging even entered my mind. When it did ... the thought was banished and, apart from a quick look at Eliot's contribution to the evening, I just went to bed!
Soya custard obviously appeals to his taste buds as the licked clean fragments of the container demonstrate.
He got to sample the vegan lasagne (just a tiny morsel) and it too met with approval.
The only non-vegan item on the table was the wasabi salad dressing which contains egg.
There's something very good about sitting around the table just chatting and enjoying each other's company.
So that was last night ... a lovely day that began with a school assembly - the last one for the Primary Seven youngsters ... They did a great presentation as they looked back over their Primary School career and forward to the next step. I do hope that some of them will join us at the Holiday Bible Clubs and keep coming along to various church events.
Now ... clear up Eliot's rubbish and get moving!
May we live by faith,
walk in hope and be renewed in love,
until the world reflects your glory
and you are all in all.
Even so, come Lord Jesus. Amen.
Saturday prayers
