Photographs first ... then maybe blog later ... and maybe not ...

365Project keeps me snapping away every day ... it is an automatic thing now ... dozens of pictures some days ... other days just one or two.
With the bright sunshine today you won't be surprised to see lots and to know that what you see is only a small fraction of those actually taken.
Eliot continues to star ... in outdoor pictures it is easier to catch him ... though to get the next couple I did go through quite a number of tasty (and smelly) treats.
He was almost unaware of the camera as he saw the juicy bit that was about to be his!
Even when he realised what I was doing he still went back to looking for the reward.
With today being a Bank Holiday I wasn't sure if there'd be anyone on the road who'd want to drop in to the church ... there wasn't and they didn't... so I had a happy hour on my own with the dog and the camera.
He is remarkably well behaved in church and since there was no one around he got off the lead for a while.
I wanted this picture of the white covers for the web site ... it is such a good reminder of the resurrection joy.  I loved the white flowers as well ... they were so appropriate for this season and white always stands out clearly against the reredos.
In the church grounds the daisy heads are in full bloom ... no sooner has the grass been cut than the daisies reappear!  They grow so rapidly and look so pretty, especially in the full sun that they had this afternoon.
Amazing wee flowers ... and so delicate in appearance ... yet so hardy!

Springtime Prayer

For flowers that bloom about our feet,
For tender grass, so fresh, so sweet,
For song of bird, and hum of bee,
For all things fair we hear or see,
Father in heaven, we thank Thee!

For blue of stream and blue of sky,
For pleasant shade of branches high,
For fragrant air and cooling breeze,
For beauty of the blooming trees,
Father in heaven, we thank Thee!

Any day that has a photoshoot of E is a good day:)

In that first photo he looks like he is getting ready to pounce on the diabolical watering can!!!

And in the 2nd photo he looks like he's saying "make sure you capture my good side"....

I love the photo of Eliot in church - the 1st time i visited an Episcopal church the priest walked up to the altar with his german shepherd by his side and i thought - "any church that allows dogs in has to be a welcoming place!"

It's rainy and dreary here today - at least yesterday was gorgeous!

You are so kind! Thank you. Eliot certainly brightens up my days!
It's a Bank Holiday here today and has been beautifully sunny all day.
Back to work tomorrow!
