313 Recovering

Today was spent resting/recovering ... some small meals and a ginger drink ... and have progressed from water to herbal tea!  I meant to write a blog earlier but started reading "Village Teacher" by Jack Sheffield and became a little distracted.  A gentle novel about a rural school but rather too full of the quotations that circulate on e-mails supposedly the sayings of children.  Interesting use of these lines - but when you've read them all before ... a tad tedious.
Anyhow, it is bed time!

Now the day is over,
night is drawing nigh,
shadows of the evening
steal across the sky.
