2010:365:189 Coffee espresso.

The Italians invented the method of brewing coffee using steam pressure.  Originally the espresso machines were designed to produce coffee quickly.  "Espresso" is from the Italian verb "to put under pressure".  Early models tended to produce a bitter coffee unlike machines made since 1946.  The home machine does not produce the same crema that you have on the larger piston or pump models.
The coffee grounds used in the espresso machine are very fine.  The nozzle to the side is for steaming and frothing the milk.
When milk is steamed properly foam rises to the surface and this is then spooned onto the finished coffee.
This method of coffee making is about as different from Cowboy Coffee (or campfire coffee) as it is possible to get.
The method here is to put a handful of medium coffee grounds into a billie can of cold water and bring it to boil on the fire.  When a froth forms on top then the coffee is ready.  A quarter cup of cold water is added and the grounds allowed to settle.
1878 was the year when ground coffee was first produced for sale.  Now, a tasty cup of espresso!

I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall ever be in my mouth.
My soul shall glory in the Lord;
let the humble hear and be glad.
O magnify the Lord with me;
let us exalt his name together.
I sought the Lord and he answered me
and delivered me from all my fears.

Psalm 34 verses 1-4

I recently purchased an espresso machine from oneclickdirect.com for an affordable price. I saved 50% off the listed price and I like how quickly I received my espresso machine. I recommend checking out this sites Espresso Machines when you get a chance.
