2010:365:186 More coffee and other things ...

This tin holds my coffee.  It was a special production a number of years ago when I was still teaching and has followed me around.  There's something about the colouring and the calligraphy that shouts "good coffee" very loudly!
I'm beginning to think that it would be possible to have a whole week of coffee related blogs.... We'll see what inspiration hits me in the morning.
I did think it was time for another flower shot.... and this fuchsia is still in bloom after over two months.  There are so many flower heads on it that every day a dozen or more fall off while leaving many more to take their places.
You need the colour today.  Looking out from the dining room this afternoon the scene was far from cheery!
Heavy showers came with sickening regularity.
Eliot ventured out briefly and returned bedraggled and miserable.
Looking over the King's Hall (where the campers are enduring this change in the weather) you can see very little, and certainly not the hills beyond.  Everywhere is dull and grey.
What was for dinner?
I wasn't going to do it!
Last night I'd resisted the temptation!
But, having been up with the birds this morning I was in no mood to begin to cook this evening ... with the weather and having had a very busy day I didn't have to think twice!
So,
it was a pizza ... ordered on line .... and tracked all the way through prep, bake, quality control and deliver!  Vegetarian and Hawaiian half-and-half is my favourite combination - and Eliot doesn't turn up his nose at the odd crust!
Interestingly, the delivery guy is also the fellow who works in my favourite Chinese restaurant later in the week.

Glory to you, our God, glory be to you,
Holy Spirit, Comforter,
treasure of all goodness and giver of life,
come and dwell in us,
cleanse us from all sin,
and in your love bring us to salvation.
Holy God, holy and strong,
holy and immortal,
have mercy on us.
