A quick and early lunch break may be the only time there is for a blog today... It's "Dance for Africa" evening and one or two things need to be done before that kicks off. Remember folks - it starts at 9.00 pm though doors will be open from 8.30 pm! Get your dancing shoes on and join us for this charity event! Had a dream last night that we couldn't get everyone into the hall.... wouldn't that be amazing?!!
The Iris bed - what's left of it after Eliot decided to hide among the leaves - is now beginning to show colour and in another half a day this flower will be fully open. I just love the details, the layers of petals, the colour...
Now, off to the hall....
The spacious firmament on high,
with all the blue ethereal sky,
and spangled heavens, a shining frame,
their great Original proclaim.
The unwearied sun, from day to day,
does his Creator's power display,
and publishes to every land
the work of an almighty hand.
