Okay, I'm a messy eater. I'll eat the stuff off the floor in a minute but would you PLEASE PUT THAT CAMERA AWAY!
Eliot really doesn't like to see the camera coming out at the minute. Even when I tried to distract him with a brushing (which he loves) as soon as the lens opened he was off the chair and out of sight. Taking pictures of him having his evening meal appears to have been the last straw.
To make life worse this evening Lay-Zee and Lay-About got in on the act. Eliot wasn't impressed.
I'm left wondering "can you blame him"? All day he's ignored and left alone. The few minutes that I called in at lunch time were hardly quality play and then I went out again tonight.
Holy Week isn't the best time to be a rector's dog!
And this particular rector now wants to do some work on the computer so there'll not be any games or long walks tonight. Perhaps next week we'll get the chance to see the sea.
Lord God,

gave his back to the smiters,
