The Bible is full of exhortations to praise God - and that's not going to depend on how we feel. God is worthy of praise - all the time!
The Choir tonight at Saint Nicholas' will continue to practice a new anthem which, in both English and Spanish, repeats that call to praise the Lord - Cantad al Senor. It is from a Lutheran background in Minnesota and I am looking forward to hearing the finished piece.
This, then, is my thought for the evening - Oh sing to the Lord, oh, sing God a new song.Bless the Lord all created things:
sing his praise and exalt him for ever.
Bless the Lord you heavens:
sing his praise and exalt him for ever.
Bless the Lord you angels of the Lord:
sing his praise and exalt him for ever.
