The sounds associated with the Passion - soldiers, cock crow, crowd's roar, hammer and nails, crying... today we'll reflect on nine of them as we spend three hours at the cross.

The cross is our union with God
The cross is the victory won for us over sin and death
God forbid that we should boast save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.
